Tom Campbell Clark - Power, Legislature, U.S. Attorney General, President Truman

Tom Campbell Clark (1899-1977), was an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, having been appointed by President Truman. Both he and his son, Ramsey Clark, also held the post of U.S. Attorney General. Justice Tom Campbell Clark stated:

"The Founding Fathers believed devoutly that there was a God and that the unalienable rights of man were rooted - not in the state, nor the legislature, nor in any other human power - but in God alone." ¹
